Don't go discharging a firearm randomly outside your house, you are not kevin costner and this isn't the bodygaurd, you don't just close your eyes and start blasting. (what? yeah i saw the bodyguard, whitney houston used to be hot before the drugs and... death). The point is: Identify your target(s).
Don't listen to the Biden. I mean, buy a double barreled shotgun, hell, buy two! They are good tools to have. But what if there are more than 2 bad guys, what you gonna do then sparky? Bad guys can attack you from multiple entry points, asymetrical asshole warfare is the new standard. This isn't the wild west where 2 gunslingers with 6 shooters walk out in the street at high noon. Armed bad people will come at you, it is not uncommon to hear about them running 3, 5 or even more deep commiting home invasions, store robberies etc.
You have to be ready, probably with more than 2 shotgun shells. A "standard"
capacity magazine holds however many bullet will fit in your gun and that you
can still accurately opperate. I am not a stong man and i know with all the
other crap i have on one of my rifles, 30 rounds is what i can work with. Double mags are too heavy and i can't hold the weapon steady enough, gotta hit the gym more.
